The Singing School was founded in 2007 by Julie Gray BA(Hons) ARCM PGCE to provide excellent quality singing tuition for all levels of singer from beginner to professional. Since then the school has taught well over 100 students of all ages and abilities and now boasts a staff of 4 teachers with teachers working in the areas of Bushey, Watford and St. Albans.
The school's ethos is to provide a friendly and positive approach to singing and address the singer as a whole. We believe that great singers are taught, not born. To this end the school not only provides 1 to 1 tuition but also runs a regular programme of workshops, masterclasses and concerts open to all students. Please see the Events for more details of current courses. The school aims to give at least 3 students' concerts a year, some will be free to attend and others will be for charity.

Charity Concert
On Saturday 26th September 2009 The Singing School gave a charity concert called The Golden Age of Hollywood in aid of Cancer Research UK at The Riverside Club, Northwood. A grand total of £1,000 was raised for this very worthwhile charity - Congratulations to everyone involved!!!
The Singing School joined Bushey Opera Group for a Sell-Out Concert at The Bushey Festival in July 2009. The Festival Organisers said "The Concert was an Unmitigated Success, Enjoyed by All". You can hear excerpts from the concert here!
